Hello,

     My name is Ms. Copeland.  This is my 17th year teaching.  This is my third year at McNeal Elementary.  I love teaching and I especially love teaching the children in Canton, Mississippi.  Go Tigers!

     I was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi.  In 2001, I moved to Memphis, Tennessee.  I was there eleven years.  I have two adopted daughters from Ethiopia, Hawi and Semira.

     I graduated from Tougaloo College in 1996 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  In 1998,  I attended Mississippi College and earned my Master's degree in Education.  In 2003, I attended Union University and earned my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  In 2014, I passed my PRAXIS examiniation and obtained my add on certification in Special Education.

     I look forward to many more years of teaching with Canton Public Schools!
