Ms. Taiquitha T. Robins

What you can expect from me:

  • Regular communication, via e-mail, phone, or parent-teacher conference, regarding the progress (whether positive or negative) of your child.

  • Bi-weekly updates as to what is happening in class and what will happen next in class via email. Please ensure that your information is current with the school.

  • Up-to-date grades that you may check from your smartphone, tablet, desktop, or other device that is connected to the Internet. Please contact a school administrator to receive further information on how you can access this information through Active Parent.

  • Receptivity to your wanting to visit and/or sit with your child in class to personally check his/her progress. Please inform me by emailing me 24 hours prior to your visit so that I may reserve seating for you. Please note that when visiting the classroom, parents are expected to set an example for your child by not using cellular devices during instructional time or talking out of turn. Your presence is merely a show of support and/or concern for your child, not as a distractor to the regular instructional process.

  • Nothing less than Great Expectations for your child. I am held accountable for the wellbeing and mental capacity of your child while they are under my care. I do not take this responsibility lightly. Therefore, please review the classroom policies contained in the attached Syllabus with your child. These policies are put in place to ensure that while your child is under my care, he/she learns Microbiology/Genetics and it’s impact on the world as set forth my the Mississippi Department of Education Science Curriculum. In addition, with the integration of this fantastic 1:1 Initiative, your child will learn to think.
