Welcome to Goodloe Elementary School and the 2015-2016 school year!  This is an exciting time for your child and marks one of the most important milestones in your child's life. I am so glad to have your child be apart of my kindergarten class. Be assured that I will do my best to make this school year enjoyable and full of real learning for your child.  Please do not think your child will be just "playing" all day!  The skills we practice daily in kindergarten are building blocks for your child's future success in school and in life.

Parental support is essential to a student's success in school. One way you can start your support is to take a little time every day to talk with your chid about his or her school day.  Ask about homework assignments, friends, and special activities.  Your interest in your child's academic and social experiences at school can be a great motivator for learning.  Let your child see that you are working together with the school to help make this a terrific school year in every way.
