    Assistant Principal

    "I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as assistant principal of Nichols Middle School. I am a proud graduate of the elite Canton High Class of 1998," says Grant. She began her career in education in 2017 as an ISS instructor. Later, she pursued higher education and obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, both from Jackson State University.
    "My decision to become an administrator ties into my educational philosophy that all students deserve a positive learning environment and a committed educational team. As the assistant principal of NMS, my goal is to provide a supportive climate and culture that is conducive to teaching and learning. I will work diligently with our faculty and staff to carry out the vision and mission of NMS. I believe that as a school, we play a fundamental role in positioning students for future success; therefore, I am committed to working closely with teachers, parents, and community members to ensure our children receive the best education possible and are prepared for their future endeavors," says Grant.
